Overview

This afternoon session will provide all the latest information on how to properly spec a vehicle for optimum performance for today’s fleets.

It will focus on:

  • mass limits and trends - implications for tyres, axles and truck specification
  • tyre technology - latest technology - overseas trends in wide singles and other tyre trends
  • tyre maintenance - inflation and proper maintenance
  • retreads and their benefits

The interaction of vehicle mass, axles and their technology and the choice and maintenance of tyres are key factors in ensuring an efficient fleet operation. This session, hosted by Beaurepaires and supported by a number of other sponsors, has OEM’s, tyre experts and researchers delivering an expert understanding of what is one of the major cost inputs to transport. It is a great opportunity to test your own knowledge and fleet practices against the information provided by these speakers.
