A day of safety focused briefings and activities designed to improve safety awareness and culture.

It will include:

Breakfast with V8 Supercar driver, Greg Murphy

Morning: Fatigue Management Workshop - the new National Fatigue Regulations 2008 and their expected impact on the Victorian freight and logistics industry. A Fatigue Information Pack will be launched at the Workshop.

Lunch with Tim Bamford, former CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, on the logistics of major events

Afternoon:

Drugs Management Workshop - Drugs is a significant cause of death and injury on the road and in the workplace, The Workshop will cover policies in the workplace, testing procedures and police enforcement. A Drug Information Kit will be launched at the Workshop.

Breakfast with Greg Murphy - V8 superstar - the logistics of V8 racing

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast provided by WorkSafe and featuring Greg Murphy, winner of four Bathurst and eleven V8 Supercar events. Greg Murphy is an Australian legend who will provide an entertaining start to the day on the logistics of V8 racing. WorkSafe will present the secrets to a healthier bottom line.
