history & facts

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) and Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) are once again proud to bring the industry together in this, the 9th running of the Freight Exhibition that commenced in 1991 and is biennial.

Reflecting changes in the industry, FREIGHT EXPO has developed into a technology based event that will showcase some of the most innovative solutions in the industry. In an industry that is constantly evolving the exhibition will enable exhibitors to discuss face to face what it is they have to offer in a professional B2B environment, develop and re-enforce business relationships and view the latest technology.

The exhibition will also be a show case for the many services available to the industry. From recruitment and insurance to freight forwarding, the exhibition will also enable service orientated companies the opportunity to present their ideas to the industry.

This year will see the show move from its traditional venue at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to the Caulfield Race Course. Running from the 19th - 21st September 2007, the exhibition will once again run concurrently with the Freight Congress in a week of activities commencing on Saturday September 15th.
