State Library of Victoria
9.00am- 5.00pm

Overview
Held at the State Library of Victoria, Freight Outlook 07 brings together leading thinkers and agenda shapers across industry, government and academia in discussing and debating the future for freight. Issues of restructuring, forecasting, infrastructure, technology and environment will all go under the microscope. Robert Gottliebsen, founder of BRW magazine will take presenters, panelists and the audience through an interactive day of discussions and analysis designed to provoke thinking and question existing paradigms.
Freight growth around the world is being fuelled by growing consumer demand as well as massive restructuring of the world economy. Few are untouched by this growth and the implications for the environment, infrastructure, use of technology and the regulatory environment. The Freight Outlook day brings together eleven experts from around the globe to inform, debate with and engage the audience. It is followed by a dinner in Queens Hall, one of Melbourne’s most historic venues.
Who should attend
Senior freight company managers, freight policy analysts, government and consulting representatives, financiers, manufacturers and freight generators as well as academics.
