Peter Hackett to Test Drive at Sandown! Peter Hackett is the Chief Driving Instructor for Mercedes-Benz Australia. Peter also presents "Test Drive" on Channel 9 and is commentator on "Speekweek". He has also been a Race Driver for Lamborghini since 2003. An Australian Champion in Formula 3, with racing experience in Europe, America and Japan. Winning 19 races from 21 starts to lead the Aussie F4000 & the GT Championships. Peter and his team will be on track at the Sandown Safety and Productivity Drive Day to provide an unforgettable driving experience. Participants will experience "hands on" active safety features like emergency braking, Electronic Stability Program, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist and a range of other life saving technology now available on the latest cars and commercial vehicles. The Drive Day will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the latest safety features available on a range of sophisticated cars, vans and trucks. The day will also feature Performance Based Standards (PBS) and fuel efficient vehicles along with displays from innovators in the transport industry. |
